Previously to his current position Alon served for over five years as Vice President of Business Development and Sales at a publicly traded fuel cell company, as Chief of Staff at the Israel’s Ministry of Defense and as Director General of the Ministry for Home Front Defense.
He played a leading role in the establishment of NEMA (the National Emergency Management Authority) and in its merger with MELCH - the directorate responsible for essential and critical infrastructure in Israel. He led the authored Israel’s national emergency management doctrine, developed the national resilience system and framework and the "TOP 50" project of the protecting of the country’s 50 most critical infrastructures.
